Learn How to Transform Your Space with a Cedar Fence Installation
Posted by on 2023-12-23
Transform your space with a cedar fence installation and redefine the look of your property. Whether you want to increase security, privacy or just add a touch of beauty to your outdoor area, cedar fences provide an ideal solution. Cedar has excellent rot resistance, making it ideal for long-term use in harsh climates. Plus, its natural oils give it an attractive scent and color that will last for years. Installing a cedar fence is relatively straightforward; however, there are certain steps to take to ensure that the job is done correctly. First, measure out the desired area and plan where each post should be placed. Posts should be buried at least two feet deep in concrete for stability and strength. Next, attach stringers between posts using metal brackets or nails, then secure vertical pickets or boards with screws into the stringers. Finally, finish off the project by applying sealant on all sides of the fence and caulk around any joints or fasteners for added protection against moisture damage. With proper care and maintenance, your new cedar fence can last for decades!
